Born in 2011, on the initiative of Teatro al Quadrato, from 2019 it is an international festival of theatre and culture for the new generations. It has a two-year structure, with odd-numbered years dedicated to international showcase and even-numbered years dedicated to education and territory.
Alongside the programme of performances for schools and families, aimed at an audience aged 0 to 14, there are educational events, workshops, and activities to promote reading and outdoor education, thanks to the collaboration of partners and associations.
It is in this constructive climate that the Criticare ad Arte project was born, a structured dialogue course curated by the MateâriuM collective. A space within the festival dedicated to artists, programmers, operators and critics where they can meet to analyse the artistic and creative process of the shows.
Last but not least, with the Blooming project, Trallallero becomes training for those who intend to discover or refine their path in the world of theatre for children and youth. A project dedicated to productions and tutoring for companies or individual artists under 35.
Trallallero is thus an all-round international festival that promotes emerging artists, new experimental languages and relationships.
During these years Trallallero has met several public and private organizations, fundamental partners for the growth and enhancement of the festival that brings thousands of new children and young people to the theatre every year:
from the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, to the Mountain Communities of Gemona, Natisone and Val Torre,
from Friuli Foundation to Pietro Pittini Fuondation,
up to the MIC-Ministry of Culture, Boarding Plus Call with the network project Chain Reaction
and the municipalities of Artegna, Tarcento and Gemona del Friuli.
Aware that we live in an enclosed environment, we believe in the potential of the intimacy of the event and what it expresses.
is the desire to transmit the concept of culture and territory to the new generations
is contemporary theatrical language to make the new generations protagonists in the process of cultural evolution
is an international meeting and dialogue space on a personal scale
s a model of sustainable development through which the territory and professionalism grow and present themselves to the world
