The book week

of the Tarcento school district, an initiative that began 30 years ago.

The book week, organized by the Tarcento school district, involves preschool, primary and secondary schools in the municipalities of Magnano in Riviera, Lusevera, Nimis, Taipana and Tarcento. About 750 children together with their families and teachers.

Since 2017, Teatro al Quadrato has been supporting the programming of this event, participating in a concrete way through the proposal of new ideas and fundraising, continuing the reading promotion activities present at the festival.

Trallallero in fact has a special relationship with schools; in addition to hosting them at the theater in October, it takes care of their requests throughout the year, building inclusive creative educational paths together.

The week

In late November, seven days of activities in schools dedicated to pupils, families and teachers. A program defined by a specific theme and punctuated by workshops, educational meetings, exhibitions, animated readings, performances and book market exhibition.

International event

Trallallero and the Book Week art activities enliven the twinning between the municipality of Tarcento and Bovec (Slovenia). In alternate years a delegation visits the local school, participating in a morning performance, sharing lunch and playing together in the afternoon.

The program

During the Book Week, Trallallero offers quality educational paths by taking charge of the schedule of animated readings, inviting the regional companies, and others, that in recent years have maintained a high standard of the quality of the performances offered.
