Chain reaction

Since 2019, Trallallero has been a partner in Chain Reaction, an international project to promote art and culture for the younger generation, involving five other Italian festivals.

Activated in response to the MIC’s Boarding Pass Plus Call for Proposals, with the support of Assitej Italia (Italian association of theater for children and youth), Chain Reaction is an opportunity to expand and consolidate networking relationships with industry players, to secure travel grants and mentoring and tutoring actions for many young artists, and to compare notes on how the theater system works in different countries around the world.

Since 2024 with the conclusion of the actions under the Call, Chain Reaction continues its mission informally, preserving and enhancing the work done so far in order not to disperse the skills and relationships gained.

The project objectives

International networking

Expand international relations with joint participation in festivals, conferences and meetings, both online and in person.

Information sharing

Create a shared network to improve the mobility of international artists in Italy, optimizing costs and distances, and fostering sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.

International visibility

To consolidate Chain Reaction’s role internationally as a major interlocutor for the cultural future of the younger generation by fostering strategic relationships with institutions and unifying the promotion of member activities and festivals.

International circuit

To promote abroad the Italian productions presented at member festivals by increasing the presence of international operators and to carry out cooperation projects to support the development of the creativity of independent companies and artists under 35.
